4

Your content

FireForge allows you to submit, upload, create, store, publish, and otherwise provide content through the Service.

"Your Content" means content that you submit or create through FireForge, including:

  • Stories
  • Manuscripts
  • Chapters
  • Drafts
  • Characters
  • Outlines
  • Notes
  • Artwork
  • Covers
  • Audio
  • Prompts
  • Descriptions
  • Comments
  • Reviews
  • Other creative or informational material you provide

You retain ownership

You retain ownership of your original intellectual property in Your Content.

Using FireForge does not transfer ownership of your stories, manuscripts, characters, artwork, or other intellectual property to FireForge.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from continuing to use, publish, license, sell, or otherwise exploit your Content outside FireForge, subject to any separate agreement you may have entered into with FireForge.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for Your Content. You represent that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to submit the Content;
  • Your Content does not knowingly infringe another person's intellectual-property rights;
  • You have obtained required permissions for material belonging to others;
  • Your Content complies with these Terms and applicable law.

You should maintain your own backups of important creative work.

Although FireForge is designed to store and protect your work, we do not guarantee that Content will never be lost, corrupted, deleted, or become temporarily inaccessible.

5

Content rights and our license

FireForge needs certain rights to your Content in order to operate the Service.

When you submit Content to FireForge, you grant FireForge a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, perform, format, modify, adapt, and otherwise use that Content only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the FireForge Service;
  • Store and synchronize your Content;
  • Display your Content according to your settings;
  • Process your Content through features you choose to use;
  • Generate requested exports, translations, narration, or other outputs;
  • Publish and distribute works when you instruct FireForge to do so;
  • Maintain backups and system infrastructure;
  • Secure and protect the Service;
  • Improve the operation and reliability of FireForge;
  • Enforce these Terms and protect our legal rights.

This license does not give FireForge ownership of Your Content.

AI processing

Where you voluntarily use an AI-powered feature, the license above also permits FireForge to transmit the relevant input to the third-party provider required to perform that feature.

The AI processing of Your Content is further described in the AI & Content Policy and Privacy Policy.

Public content

If you choose to publish Content publicly, you authorize FireForge to make that Content available to readers and other users according to the publishing and distribution features you select.

6

Publishing and public content

FireForge may allow you to publish works for other users to discover and read.

When you publish a work, you understand that:

  • The work may become publicly accessible;
  • Readers may view, interact with, or review the work;
  • Information associated with the work may be publicly displayed;
  • Publicly available Content may be copied or shared by others;
  • Removing a work may not remove copies that other users have independently retained or shared.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to publish the work.

FireForge does not guarantee that publication will result in a particular number of readers, views, followers, sales, or earnings.

7

AI-powered features

FireForge may provide AI-powered functionality, including:

  • Writing assistance
  • Editing and editorial assistance
  • Brainstorming
  • Translation
  • Summarization
  • Text-to-speech narration
  • Cover or artwork generation
  • Other AI-assisted creative tools

AI features may use third-party technology providers.

AI outputs

AI-generated or AI-assisted output may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, inappropriate, or similar to material generated for other users.

You are responsible for reviewing AI output before using, publishing, selling, distributing, or relying upon it.

FireForge does not guarantee that AI output:

  • Is accurate;
  • Is original;
  • Does not resemble existing works;
  • Is suitable for publication;
  • Is legally protectable by copyright;
  • Is free from errors.

No exclusive ownership guarantee

Where AI is used to generate or substantially transform content, FireForge does not guarantee that you will receive exclusive intellectual-property rights in the resulting output.

You are responsible for determining whether an AI-generated work can legally be protected, published, or commercially exploited in your jurisdiction.

AI provider processing

Depending on the feature you use, information may be processed by third-party AI providers. Examples may include:

  • Anthropic for certain editorial and writing functionality;
  • OpenAI for narration, text-to-speech, translation, or other enabled functionality;
  • fal.ai for AI image generation.

See the AI & Content Policy and Privacy Policy for additional information.

8

Prohibited content and conduct

You may not use FireForge to create, upload, publish, distribute, or promote content or conduct that:

  • Violates applicable law;
  • Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • Fraudulently impersonates another person;
  • Facilitates fraud or financial deception;
  • Contains malicious software or harmful code;
  • Attempts to exploit or endanger children;
  • Promotes terrorism or violent extremist activity;
  • Encourages serious real-world violence or criminal activity;
  • Deliberately facilitates exploitation, trafficking, or abuse;
  • Attempts to compromise FireForge or another person's account;
  • Circumvents FireForge's access, payment, credit, or security systems.

FireForge may also restrict categories of content that are technically, operationally, commercially, or legally incompatible with the platform.

Fiction and fictional violence

FireForge is a fiction platform. Fictional depictions of violence, conflict, crime, horror, supernatural activity, or other mature themes may be permitted depending on the applicable FireForge content rules.

The fact that content is fictional does not exempt it from our prohibited-content requirements.

Additional rules may apply to mature or age-restricted content.

10

Subscriptions, credits, and payments

FireForge may offer paid services including:

  • Subscriptions
  • Digital credits or coins
  • Individual chapter or book purchases
  • Premium features
  • Creator services
  • Other paid products or services

Prices, features, limits, and billing periods will be presented at the time of purchase.

Subscriptions

If you purchase a recurring subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the selected payment method according to the subscription terms presented at purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

You can cancel future renewals through the applicable account or payment-management mechanism.

Cancellation generally prevents future charges but does not automatically create a refund for a period already paid for, except where required by law or expressly stated by FireForge.

Digital credits

FireForge may provide digital credits, coins, tokens, or similar virtual units. Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • Credits are not cash;
  • Credits are not legal tender;
  • Credits cannot be redeemed for cash;
  • Credits cannot be transferred between users;
  • Credits cannot be resold;
  • Credits do not represent a deposit or financial instrument;
  • Credits may only be used for eligible FireForge services.

Credits may expire, be restricted, or become unavailable where permitted by applicable law and the terms presented when purchased.

Purchases

A purchase may be subject to additional terms displayed at the time of purchase.

Payment processing may be handled by third parties such as Paystack, Apple, Google, or other payment providers.

FireForge does not store your full payment-card information.

Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the product purchased, the payment platform used, applicable law, and any specific refund terms presented at purchase.

Where a purchase was made through Apple, Google, or another third-party marketplace, refund requests may need to be handled through that marketplace.

Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer refund rights provided by applicable law.

11

Creator monetization and payouts

FireForge may allow eligible creators to earn money from their published works.

Where creator monetization is available, additional rules may apply, including:

  • Eligibility requirements
  • Revenue-sharing arrangements
  • Minimum payout thresholds
  • Payment schedules
  • Tax requirements
  • Identity or account verification
  • Fraud-prevention requirements
  • Content eligibility requirements
  • Chargeback and refund adjustments

The specific commercial terms applicable to a creator will be presented separately or through the relevant FireForge creator program.

Revenue is not guaranteed

FireForge does not guarantee that a creator will earn a particular amount of money.

Revenue may depend on factors including readership, purchases, subscriptions, platform policies, refunds, taxes, payment processing, and applicable revenue-sharing arrangements.

Payout restrictions

We may delay, withhold, or reverse payouts where reasonably necessary to:

  • Investigate suspected fraud;
  • Resolve chargebacks;
  • Address payment disputes;
  • Investigate policy violations;
  • Comply with legal obligations;
  • Correct accounting errors.

We will not use this provision to unlawfully withhold money that is owed to you.

12

Third-party services

FireForge may integrate with third-party services, including payment processors, AI providers, app stores, analytics providers, hosting providers, email providers, and other infrastructure providers.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

FireForge is not responsible for the independent actions, availability, policies, or practices of third-party services.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own agreements.

13

Platform availability and changes

We work to keep FireForge available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The Service may occasionally be:

  • Temporarily unavailable;
  • Delayed;
  • Modified;
  • Restricted;
  • Suspended;
  • Under maintenance;
  • Affected by technical failures or events outside our control.

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features.

Where reasonably practical, we may provide notice of significant changes.

14

Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You materially violate these Terms;
  • You violate applicable law;
  • You infringe another person's rights;
  • You engage in fraud or abuse;
  • You attempt to compromise FireForge;
  • You circumvent payment or access controls;
  • Your account creates a significant security, legal, or operational risk;
  • We are legally required to do so.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue before terminating an account.

However, we may act immediately where necessary to protect users, FireForge, third parties, or the integrity of the Service.

Appeals

Where FireForge provides an appeal process for moderation or account actions, you may use that process to request a review.

We may consider the circumstances, available evidence, and applicable policies when reviewing an appeal.

15

Deleting your account

You may delete your FireForge account through the account-management tools provided by FireForge or by contacting us where necessary.

After deletion:

  • Your account may no longer be accessible;
  • Your public profile may be removed or deactivated;
  • Your unpublished Content may be deleted subject to our retention practices;
  • Certain information may be retained where required or permitted by law;
  • Financial, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, or accounting records may be retained as necessary;
  • Backups may take additional time to be overwritten;
  • Content previously distributed to other users may not be recoverable.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled after account deletion.
