Privacy Policy

Draft — pending legal review. This is a working placeholder. The definitive Privacy Policy must be reviewed by counsel before public launch.
What we collect
- Account: email, display name, password hash, optional bio and socials.
- Your work: stories, chapters, covers, and exports.
- Activity: sign-ins, session metadata, audit timestamps.
- Payments: handled by Paystack (and Apple/Google on mobile). We never store card details.
How we use it
To run the service: authenticate you, save your drafts, deliver email, process publish/payouts, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell personal information.
Sub-processors
- Paystack — payment processing.
- Anthropic — AI authoring features (when you enable them).
- Your email provider — transactional email delivery.
Your rights (GDPR / NDPR / CCPA)
- Export your data — Account → Export Account Data.
- Delete your account — Account → Delete my account.
- Correct your data — edit your profile or contact us.
Retention
We keep account data until you delete your account. After deletion we anonymise the user record and retain anonymous aggregates for accounting/legal purposes for up to 7 years.
Children
FireForge is not for children under 13. If we learn we've collected data from a child under 13, we delete it.
